Mason Love Week is one of the biggest and most exciting humanitarian aid projects at George Mason University. Every year, Mason's student body joins together to provide practical relief to one of the global community's people groups in need.
This year, we are working in partnership with Global Aid Network (GAIN) on a project to bring relief. On November 7th, 2019, we will host a packing event to prepare seeds to be sent to areas in Guatemala facing a drought. We hope to bring hundreds of Mason students together. These simple seeds will help families affected by crisis, by providing them with resources to grow fruits and vegetables. A huge way to help is by donating. $20 provides 80 SeedPacks. Come to the Seed Packing Event on Thursday, November 7th, 1:30-6 pm!! Join us for any amount of time to pack seeds and help show love to Guatemala!! Love Week is dedicated to the idea that when we love people, we can truly change the world for the better. Get involved in this year's Love Week and you can make a real difference too! |
