Greg Boros Memorial Scholarship
Greg was passionate about giving students an opportunity to know Jesus. He knew from experience what it was like to be a college student who had it all on the outside but was crumbling and without hope inside. Meeting Jesus during his freshman year of college changed his life and gave him the hope of eternal life which sustained him through tremendous suffering. Greg cared deeply for people, especially those who felt hopeless and far from God. His heart's desire was to help others find hope, rest, and life in Jesus too. Few things gave him more joy than seeing Jesus start to work in a student’s life or when a student went from spiritual death to spiritual life in Jesus.
Greg, who had received a heart transplant at the young age of 25, died suddenly at age 35 from heart failure on December 19, 2020. His legacy still lives on in the lives of his wife Elise, son Paul, and the numerous college students and Cru staff that he mentored over his 12 years of ministry.
Greg’s family and friends set up a Scholarship Fund to continue the legacy of Greg’s ministry at Mason.
Scholarships are available for Winter Conference.
Priority will be given to students with financial need or students who would not consider themselves to be followers of Jesus but are interested in learning more about Jesus.
Applications are due by December 1st at midnight. Click the button below to fill out the application.
